With night #1 in books for The 2nd Annual Deacon Dick Rautenberg Memorial we continue racing action tonight at The Diamond in the Desert Cocopah Speedway. Main event event winners were as follows Bob Horton in his #3 IMCA Hobby Stock who dedicated his win to his friend the late Dick Rautenberg following Horton across the line was point leader Leonard L Manos​, Jason T Beshears​,Jim Robinson and Harvey Quinn​ rounded out the top 5.In RV World Yuma​ Northern Sport Mod it was point leader Chris-Mindy Toth​ in his 57ct mount followed by Cody Daffern,Sean Callens,Kyle Smith​ and Larry Wyatt completed your top 5. Next up in your Fisher Automotive​ IMCA Stock Cars it was Cortez Colorado racer Tony Hill in his 007 machine he was followed by David Jones​ who split a lapped car to get by #3 finisher Thomas Daffern rounding out the top 5 Pj Pilgrim​ and another long tow competitor Troy Patee. Well on to the ground pounders your IMCA modifieds who had alot of hard chargers as Ricky Thornton Jr.​ won his 41st main event of the year but it was no easy task as a couple of late race cautions bunched of the field and Tim Ward​ and Zane DeVilbiss​ waged a battle for lead but would fall short finishing out you top 5 were track favorites Lance Mari​ and Russell Allen​.Night # 2 looks to be just as exciting as we expect a couple extra cars as some of the drivers worked Friday. So head on out with gates opening at the speedway today at 3:00 PM as we will have Playin Country playing music on the midway racing will again start at 7:00PM and if you cant make watch it on PPV on Speed Shift TV​ with Chet Christner​ at  the mike. Dont forget the after race party across the street at Wild River Family Entertainment Center
